What are the risks in this?

If you go through life not taking risks whats the point. It like not going on a roller coaster because it could go off the track or not sailing because the boat could capsize. get rid of the thing, i can understand where u are coming from but if you trust the surgeon then go for it. You don't want it to affect you down the road.
