My 8 month old is congested again!!!!?

My almost 7 month old has be congested/runny nose for almost 3 months. This is the second time i have taken her to the doctor about this and he keeps telling me, "they are virus's on top of virus's. There isn't much we can do about this" It makes me so mad. He is not the one dealing with her not sleeping, eating, or her fussiness day in and day out. Plus most important, she is misrable, and i can tell it is from this. We have her mattress inclined, using a humidfer, saline spray up the nose, suction her out numerous times daily. We do not want to place her in her car seat/bouncer seat because we just got her to finally sleep in her crib a couple months back. I am taking her to another doctor for a second opinion, there might not be much to do to help her, but i am sick of and she is too! Sometimes i think doctors forget what it is like to deal with some issues infants have on a daily basis. they just think we are over reacting. please, like we like to take our children to the doctor just for the heck of it. ( sorry frustrated mom)
