Should i carry on a diet life long?
after 3 years of unsuccessful diets, i tried one, last summer for 3-4 months which consisted on eating only veggies and proteins with the exception of cereal in the morning. It went all fine until people told me i was too thin and threatened me to make me eat themselves. they were exaggerating but i guess scared i would never stop my diet. Since i've stopped, my life has been hell. I gained twice as much weight as i lost (20 kilos). Nutritionists have clearly told me to simply not have any 'forbidden food' and with time hopefully it will arrange itself all alone. The problem is that i binge eat so although i feel less guilty, it gives me only more reasons to binge more. Therefore i am in doubt wether i should keep a diet my entire life, like my mother is doing or try to eat somehow normally and hopefully wait for everything to settle with the high chance of gaining a lot of weight. thank you :)
