Why won't Spike the Snake eat?

if your king snake is 2ft 3 inches i wouldn't be feeding him pinkies, that's for a 12 inch snake. I'd be feeding him hoppers. Three weeks still isn't THAT long for a snake not to eat. The temperature in the tank may have something to do w/ it but if you have it in the low to mid 80's that may not be the problem. Kingsnakes are usually great eaters and inconsistent temps probably wouldn't effect it much anyway. Here are a few suggestions. I would start by giving it larger food. You may want to try live food as well if it still does not eat. A vet is also a option or someone who is trained to give advice on the health of the snake.
