I want to go to college to be a doctor.

I'm a bit confused on stuff like you have to go to medical school too. Is that after you complete for years of college? Can someone just help explain what I do first, second, third.. so on. I want to become a Pediatric Oncologist. ( Child Cancer Doctor ) What would I be majoring and/or minoring in in college? Thanks (:
