I am flying across country with my 9 month old. Will I need to open canned ready to feed formula at security?

I already watched all the videos and read all the information on TSA's website. I know that I am allowed to bring the cans of formula, but as far as I can tell--I may be asked to open them? If I do that, I wont be able to save them for later which is the whole point. I do use power formula but thought it might be easier to bring ready to feed, rather than trying to get bottled water on the flight or as I rush between fights. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you!
