Help wiv asking girl out pls?

Hi guys, iv loved this girl for a while now her name is Lucy.. she is a average looking girl she doesnt have many BF's well not that i know of anyways, i love her very much and im to scared to ask her out incase i get rejected i have alot of popular mates, infact one of my best m8s is the most toughest respect in our school.. so that should be a advantage maybe? anyway i always try to inpress her, well i pretend im not trying to of course but i am realy, i get like put in well deep trouble just to inpress her and stuff.. and i dont think its even inpressing her i think its just making me look like a idiot... is all realy anyways guys can u help me what should i do to inpress her?? i realy love her and realy wanna ask her out my friends wouldnt laugh or think it was funny if she rejected me i wouldnt get inbrased but i just dont want to she is lovely and i realy wish to go out with her so if anyone can give me some advice i will realy aperiate it thank you
